Co-founder of Digital Lens Alexandra M. Szabo organized and moderated a lively roundtable discussion presenting the work of the newer generation of Holocaust scholars: Ágnes Kelemen (CEU Democracy Institute), Borbála Klacsmann (University College Dublin), Dániel Véri (Central European Research Institute for Art History), and András Szécsényi (Historical Archives of the State Security Services).
The roundtable discussion was open to the public at The Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives on 24 June 2024 and was organized as a part of the closing events of the exhibition Patterns of Survival: DEGOB Protocols in a New Light. This exhibition portrayed the research findings of the Digital Lens research group’s work, as it was important to the team that that the results be presented to a wider audience. In the same vein, the historians shared insights about their work, the details, struggles, and the joys of research with the public during the roundtable event. Below are some photographs that were taken of the event.
